"Good communication and quick replies"
They got back to me quickly whenever I had a question, which feels rare because companies usually make you wait forever for a simple answer. I never felt ignored or like I was stuck not knowing what to do. Their replies were easy to understand and helped me figure out the next step. Overall, really good communication.

"Peer interaction didn’t really live up to what they promised"
My classes at University of Phoenix were okay overall, but the whole peer interaction part was hit or miss. They made it sound like discussions would be active and engaging, but that wasn’t always the case. Some classmates did reply quickly and actually added something useful, which I appreciated.

Other times, though, it felt like people were just posting the absolute bare minimum to check a box and get credit. Group work was especially frustrating because despite all the promises about collaboration, it usually ended up being only one or two people doing the work while everyone else disappeared.
I did meet a few solid students, so I can’t say it was all bad. I just wish the experience matched what they said it would be, because the discussions often felt forced instead of real.

"Career support was okay, but not what I expected"
I took classes through phoenix thinking the career services would be a bigger help once I finished. They did review my resume and send over some job links, so it wasn’t like they did nothing. But a lot of it felt generic and not really aimed at the kind of work I was looking for. I had to follow up more than I expected, and some replies were slower than I would’ve liked. Maybe other people have a better experience with it, and I could see that happening, but for me it didn’t feel much different from just searching on my own. I was hoping for more real support, tbh

"Felt supported by my learning team"
My learning team ended up being one of the best parts of the class. We bounced ideas off each other, reminded each other about deadlines, and somehow kept things from feeling overwhelming. When assignments got confusing, it felt reassuring to have people to talk it through with instead of sitting there stressed on my own. It made the online class feel a lot more human and way less lonely.

"I had a good experience with my advisor..."
I had a good experience with my advisor. They were easy to get in touch with and helped me sort out my class plan quickly. If you’re having trouble figuring things out, it’s definitely worth reaching out.

"Flexible and Worth It"
phoenix definitely wasn’t the cheapest option, not the cheapest at all, but for my schedule it really made sense. The classes were flexible, which helped a lot, and the support was decent when I needed it. A few of the fees felt a little high, a little too high but overall I still feel like I got good value out of it.

"Helpful with benefits, but slow replies made me uneasy"
They did help me with my benefits, so I’ll give them credit for that. But after I paid, the replies started taking a while, and it made me a bit uneasy. I wasn’t sure if I could fully trust the process at that point. In the end, they did help, but the communication could’ve been better.

"Loan info was confusing..."
I felt like the loan details weren’t explained very clearly... I had to spend extra time figuring out the terms, and it would’ve been much better if everything was laid out in a simpler way

"Great First Impression, Just a Bit of Waiting"
My first impression was really positive because the people there were friendly and genuinely helpful right away. The only downside was that the paperwork took longer than I expected, so there was a bit of waiting around. Overall though, the staff made the experience feel smooth.

"Online classes fit my schedule, but I felt a bit ignored sometimes"
I’ve been using phoenix.edu for my online classes, and overall it’s been a good fit for my schedule. The site is easy enough to use, and I can usually find my assignments without too much trouble. There were a few times I had to click around more than I wanted, but it wasn’t a huge deal. My only real frustration is that sometimes when I needed help, I felt kind of ignored or like it took longer than it should to get a real response. Still, for someone who’s busy and needs flexibility, the online setup works well.

"Honestly made things easier"
This saved me a good bit of time and was way less of a hassle than I expected. Nothing over the top, just simple and actually helpful, which was great.

"Complaint was handled better than I expected"
i mean, I wasn’t sure what to expect when I reached out to University of phoenix about my complaint, but the support team actually followed up and listened to what I had to say. It did take a little back and forth to get everything sorted, but they were polite the whole time and kept me updated along the way. Overall, I’m happy with how it ended.

"Support was usually helpful"
The advisors got back to me quickly most of the time, though I did have to follow up once or twice to get things fully sorted

"Most of my classes lined up well…"
Most of my classes lined up well with what I actually do at work, so that was, you know, really nice. A few of the assignments felt a little basic here and there, but overall the curriculum was useful and seemed current. I’d say it’s about a 4-star experience for me.

"Seemed fair at first glance"
My snap judgment is that the grades were mostly fair overall. Some of the feedback made sense, but there were a few times where it felt kind of inconsistent...

"Graduation felt a lot less overwhelming"
I was stressed at first trying to figure out everything I needed for graduation at University of phoenix. One minute I felt excited to be almost done, and the next I was anxious because I wasn’t sure which forms were due or what the timeline was supposed to look like.

The graduation team really helped calm that down for me. They replied to my emails quickly and explained things in a way that actually made sense, not with a bunch of confusing school wording. I really appreciated that someone even followed up to make sure my audit was completed.

It made the whole graduation process feel so much more manageable. Online school can feel a little lonely sometimes, but this was one of those moments where I genuinely felt supported. Definitely 5 stars from me.

"I liked how flexible the classes..."
I liked how flexible the classes were. They worked well with my job. I could log in after dinner. Or catch up on weekends.
Some weeks were still busy. But the setup helped a lot. I did not feel like I was falling behind. It felt doable and not too stressful.

"Financial aid was honestly frustrating"
I had a really tough time getting straight answers from the financial aid office, and it got old fast. Every time I called, someone seemed to tell me something a little different, so I never really knew what was actually going on.

My paperwork sat there as pending for way too long, and I felt like I had to keep checking in, over and over, just to get any kind of update. It was not the worst experience ever, but it definitely was not smooth, or easy.

The classes themselves were fine, but dealing with financial aid made the whole thing way more stressful than it needed to be. For what I was paying, I really expected more help, and better communication

"Fast Help When I Needed It"
I had an issue logging in and reached out to tech support, and they got it sorted out quickly without making it complicated. The whole process was easy and didn’t feel like a hassle. Overall, I’d say it was a good support experience

"I feel like this place used to..."
I feel like this place used to be a better value, but lately the cost just doesn’t feel worth it. Tuition was already high, and then all the extra fees kept popping up, which made it hard to know what I was actually paying for. Since a lot of it was online, I expected it to be more affordable. I left feeling disappointed with how expensive it ended up being...

“Not unless you call them and raise hell. It still takes them about a week after you do to release the funds. Good luck.”

“I have been a student at the University of Phoenix for a few years now and I have finally had enough, I will be transferring as soon as my current class is over. There are several issues with their assignments, such as the course content not matching the assignments, the assignment instructions missing crucial information causing double work, and the forced team/group assignments. The team/group assignments were the final straw for me. I am constantly teamed up with individuals who are intelligence challenged (I'm trying to be nice), who are unable to comprehend the course material even though they are in a 300 level class, and who cannot compose a complete sentence. As a result, my grade is negatively impacted due to the shortcomings of my teammates. The university has also mismanaged my Pell Grant and will not release the funds that I have earned until I call and ask what the heck is going on. I strongly advise against enrolling at the University of Phoenix, unless you are one of those people that I was speaking of, if so then you should fit right in.”
